Building Trust Inside Your Team
The teams we create for strategic exploration (Implications Wheel, Strategy Matrix, T.I.P.S. Tracking, Vision) can be either diverse teams of “strangers” (in a community) or diverse teams of co-workers. In both cases, the existing levels of trust — or the levels created by the process — are very important. A facilitator has a responsibility to monitor this, inquire about it during the team assignment process with a client, and use the power of the process itself to demonstrate that strategic exploration respects the input from all members of a team. This is a good source — and a good article on several dimensions of trust.
